I am currently assisting my client in the Home Counties identity a Licensing Manager & Community Safety Manager on a interim basis.
- Role: Licensing Manager
- Contract Length: 3/6 months
- Days on site: 1 day per week (Wednesday preferred)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Rate: Negotiable
Essential Skills & Requirements:
- A licensing or legal qualification
- Membership of a professional body related to licensing (IoL)
- Extensive knowledge of legislation relating to the licensing function
- Thorough understanding of court procedures and the Police and Criminal Evidence Act.
- The gathering of other evidence in support of legal proceedings. (RIPA)
- Excellent conflict management skills
- Ability to discharge the duties of a Responsible Authority as regards the Licensing Act 2003
- Full driving licence and access to a car for work
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Licensing & Community Safety Team leader and contribute to the corporate management of the Service.
- Ensure that strategies and policies for the Licensing Team are developed, implemented and updated
- Discharge the duties of a Responsible Authority as regards the Licensing Act 2003, as amended.
- Prepare committee reports and attend committee as required
