Senior Safety Advisor

We are partnering with a well-established food manufacturing client in Derby who is seeking an experienced Senior Safety Advisor to support a high-performing production site.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on, influential role within a fast-paced egg production facility. You will work directly with site leadership to drive standards, shape behaviours, and ensure safety is embedded into daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of health & safety systems
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and site inspections
• Investigate incidents and near misses, identifying root causes
• Deliver training, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
• Ensure full compliance with UK health & safety legislation
• Partner with leadership teams to drive a proactive safety culture

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in a senior H&S role within manufacturing or food production
• NEBOSH qualification (Diploma preferred or working towards)
• Excellent working knowledge of UK legislation
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
• Practical, solutions-focused approach
