Pharmacovigilance Lead

We’re supporting a growing, international pharma organisation in their search for an experienced Pharmacovigilance Team Lead to join their expanding PV function. This is a 6 month FTC to permanent, and is a hybrid position (2 days onsite).

The Role

You will take ownership of end-to-end case processing oversight, ensuring compliance with global pharmacovigilance regulations while leading and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day case processing activities, including workflow management and team oversight
• Ensure regulatory compliance and timely safety reporting
• Monitor and report on KPIs and PV metrics
• Contribute to signal detection, aggregate reporting, and risk management activities
• Support development and maintenance of PV documentation (e.g. PSMF, SMPs)
• Drive a culture of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement
• Support audits, inspections, and inspection readiness
• Engage with clients and stakeholders, supporting governance and performance reviews

Key Requirements

• Advanced degree in life sciences (or equivalent experience)
• Strong experience in pharmacovigilance (CRO and/or MAH environment)
• In-depth knowledge of EU/UK GVP and global PV regulations
• Proven leadership and decision-making capability
• Strong scientific and regulatory judgement
• Excellent client and stakeholder management skills
