Partner & Head of Corporate & Commercial – Nottingham
£120,000 – £130,000 + bonus
I’m working on a standout opportunity with a leading national, multi-office law firm, looking to appoint a Partner & Head of Department to lead and grow its highly regarded Corporate & Commercial team in Nottingham.
This is a genuine leadership role, offering the platform to shape strategy, drive growth, and work alongside an established and high-performing team across multiple offices.
The role:
You will take full responsibility for the Corporate & Commercial function, leading a team of five lawyers while maintaining a strong personal practice.
You’ll play a key role in:
• Leading, mentoring, and developing the team
• Driving recruitment, growth, and succession planning
• Overseeing quality, delivery, and client service
• Contributing to strategic decision-making
• Collaborating with senior leadership across the firm
Alongside this, you will continue to advise on high-quality corporate and commercial matters.
Work highlights include:
• Complex commercial contracts (agency, distribution, IT, outsourcing, supply)
• Full M&A lifecycle, including due diligence and negotiations
• Advising on tax-efficient deal structures
