Are you an experienced Project Manager within the high-voltage sector looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join a growing project management team, delivering critical electrical infrastructure projects across a range of sectors.
About the Role
As a High Voltage ICP Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of high-voltage electrical projects (11kV / 33kV / 132kV ). From tender stage through to completion, you’ll ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage high-voltage projects, including testing, commissioning, and client liaison
- Oversee performance, project timelines, and delivery milestones
- Conduct site inductions and risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and safe systems of work
- Take ownership of programme delivery, quality assurance, and environmental compliance
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring efficiency and cost control
- Handle all financial aspects including cost tracking, variations, and invoicing
- Produce cost value reconciliations for projects and contracts
- Ensure subcontractors are approved and aligned with company policies
- Maintain compliance with legislation including CDM 2015, HASAWA, NRSWA, and COSHH
- Work to strict project programmes to achieve deadlines and first-time delivery success
About You
- Proven experience managing high-voltage distribution projects (11kV / 33kV / 132kV)
- Strong understanding of CDM 2015 regulations
- Solid awareness of safety, environmental, financial, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and client-facing abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- A proactive team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities
