Our client is currently looking to recruit a High Voltage Project Manager on a permanent basis.

Are you an experienced Project Manager within the high-voltage sector looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join a growing project management team, delivering critical electrical infrastructure projects across a range of sectors.

About the Role

As a High Voltage ICP Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of high-voltage electrical projects (11kV / 33kV / 132kV ). From tender stage through to completion, you’ll ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage high-voltage projects, including testing, commissioning, and client liaison
  • Oversee performance, project timelines, and delivery milestones
  • Conduct site inductions and risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and safe systems of work
  • Take ownership of programme delivery, quality assurance, and environmental compliance
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring efficiency and cost control
  • Handle all financial aspects including cost tracking, variations, and invoicing
  • Produce cost value reconciliations for projects and contracts
  • Ensure subcontractors are approved and aligned with company policies
  • Maintain compliance with legislation including CDM 2015, HASAWA, NRSWA, and COSHH
  • Work to strict project programmes to achieve deadlines and first-time delivery success

About You

  • Proven experience managing high-voltage distribution projects (11kV / 33kV / 132kV)
  • Strong understanding of CDM 2015 regulations
  • Solid awareness of safety, environmental, financial, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and client-facing abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • A proactive team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities
