A leading international Law Firm is recruiting for a Business Development Manager, Corporate Tech to join their team office. The role includes guiding the core team to finding connections with the wider firm that empower business development.
The Responsibilities:
- Analyse market trends and identify opportunities to expand presence in the Cambridge legal sector.
- Develop and execute targeted business development strategies to increase market share and visibility in Cambridge.
- Improve marketing capabilities for Practice lawyers, raising awareness of the business development team’s role and contributing to client action plans.
- Enhance the firm’s profile through PR, thought leadership, market research, conferences, newsletters, and seminars, in collaboration with the Central BD team and external PR agencies.
- Create impactful marketing collateral, including presentations, brochures, and client communications, to further the firm’s reputation.
- Identify target clients and intermediaries for growth and develop tailored plans for business development.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations, identifying potential opportunities and threats.
- Lead the coordination of events, support fee earners in client development, manage directory submissions, and ensure all activities are delivered within budget and on time.
The Candidate:
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience, with 3-5 years of professional services business development experience.
- Strong understanding of client development, pitch/proposal preparation, and coaching, with strategic and creative thinking skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating energy, enthusiasm, and drive.
