- Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 wfh)
The role
A Business Development Manager to join a a very successful team, where you will be responsible for new business opportunities, and growing key accounts across B2B events and publications.
- Ensure sales targets are achieved above and beyond each month
- Lead Generation and Business Development
- Account Management and cold calling
- Build client relationships – client management, client retention
- Attend competitor shows (UK, Europe and America)
- Keep accurate records on the database
About you
We are looking for friendly, motivated individuals who are looking for their next role in Event Sales. Ideally you will have experience of working in a similar role and be someone who thrives in a managerial position.
- Commercial mind-set
- Previous B2B sales experience
- First class communication skills
- Account management experience throughout full project cycle
- Ability to problem solve and to overcome objections during the sales process
- Ability to build lasting rapport with clients, both on the phone and face to face
- Ability to work to deadlines and targets
