We’re excited to be recruiting a Digital Marketing Officer on a fixed term basis to help drive forward the Society’s digital presence and support our growing Marketing & Communications team.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll take the lead on the day‑to‑day administration and development of the Society’s digital channels. Your work will include:
- Enhancing engagement and visibility across our social media platforms
- Managing and updating website content, ensuring functionality, accuracy, and a great user experience
- Supporting and delivering digital advertising activity
- Creating online marketing assets, including social media graphics and campaign materials
- Collaborating with colleagues, branches, and teams across the Society to ensure campaigns are delivered consistently and effectively
You’ll play a key role in shaping how we communicate with our audiences and in strengthening our digital footprint.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- Experience in a marketing role, preferably product or B2C marketing (in-house or agency-side).
- Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, PPC, and data-driven campaign optimisation.
- Previous experience in email marketing, social media, content creation, and platforms such as Campaign Master.
- Proficiency in web analytics tools like Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite.
- Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress.
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
- Basic knowledge of website design, usability, and accessibility.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A creative, self-motivated, and proactive mindset.
- Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external agencies.
