Job Title: Customer Validation & Master Data Representative
Location: Sandwich, Kent
Pay Rate: £21.26 per hour
Contract Length: 12 months
Hours: 37 hours per week
Role Overview
We are looking for a Customer Validation & Master Data Representative to join a global supply chain function supporting a large customer network within a highly regulated environment. This role is key to ensuring accurate customer account setup, validation, and maintenance within SAP, enabling efficient and compliant distribution processes.
You will act as a subject matter expert, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure high data quality standards, regulatory compliance, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Account Management
- Set up and maintain customer accounts in SAP in line with SOPs
- Validate new account requests and update existing data accurately
- Liaise with customers to obtain required documentation and information
- Resolve queries related to customer master data in a timely manner
- Conduct periodic account revalidations
Validation & Compliance
- Ensure customer accounts meet licensing and regulatory requirements
- Track and manage licence updates, following up where required
- Support compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards
System & Data Management
- Monitor data interfaces and identify system issues
- Investigate and resolve errors promptly, escalating when necessary
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes
Continuous Improvement
- Act as a subject matter expert for processes
- Identify and support process improvement initiatives
- Contribute to business change activities and projects
Communication & Coordination
- Manage shared mailboxes and ensure timely responses
- Maintain organised filing and documentation systems
- Collaborate across teams to support operational efficiency
Requirements
Essential:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English
- Experience in customer service, handling complex queries (phone/email)
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Good analytical and decision-making skills
Preferred:
- Experience in B2B environments
- Experience working with SAP ERP systems
