Finance Analyst | First Move from Practice | High Growth Fintech Bank | London (Hybrid)

What you’ll be doing
- Deliver month end and year end close, ensuring accurate and insightful reporting under IFRS
- Support budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes
- Provide commercial insights, including variance analysis and performance tracking
- Maintain general ledger integrity and oversee balance sheet reconciliations
- Support statutory reporting, regulatory submissions and external audit
- Contribute to technical accounting areas, including IFRS 9 and IFRS 16
- Partner with Treasury, Risk and Operations to support decision-making
- Drive automation, process improvement and scalable finance processes
- Support development of management information and performance reporting
Who this suits
- ACA qualified or equivalent, ideally from a Big 4 or leading practice firm
- PQE 0-4 Years experience
- Banking, Asset Management, Financial Services or Fin Tech audit experience preferred
- Looking to make a first move into industry with a more commercial focus
- Strong grounding in financial reporting and IFRS
- Exposure to financial services or complex audit environments is beneficial
- Interest in forecasting, planning and business performance
- Strong Excel skills; experience with finance systems or data tools is a plus
- Confident communicator, comfortable working with non-finance stakeholders
The package
- £65,000 to £80,000 base salary (dependent on experience)
- Discretionary bonus
