Industrials & Energy Transition (M&A Associate)

My client is an expanding Energy Transition mid-market M&A platform within a global boutique investment bank in London. The platform is growing and seeking an M&A Associate.

UK and Europe remit, EV 100-500m, working with companies integral to the Energy Transition sector (primarily working with business providing products and services to the cleantech and transition industry).

Key duties

• Key involvement in the origination and execution of M&A transactions
• Taking a lead role in the preparation of presentations for clients, investors and the broader investment community
• Playing an active role in the execution of mandates, taking increasing responsibilities on key workstreams and deliverables
• Commercially aware and able to act as client interface at senior level
• Excellent communication skills; mature, impactful and able to articulate complex issues

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

• M&A experience accrued within a large investment bank, recognised boutique or Big 4 Industrials or energy transition aligned advisory team
• Thorough financial analysis experience gained at an investment bank, accounting or strategy consultancy
• Extensive experience in preparing presentation materials and advanced financial modelling skills
• Detailed knowledge of valuation techniques, due diligence, documentation, and in executing debt, equity and M&A transactions
