People & Culture Specialist (Manager) – Financial Services | London
Catalyst Partners are partnering with a fast growing financial services business seeking a People and Culture Specialist to help shape and scale its people function during a period of continued growth.
This is a newly created role within a lean, high-performance environment, offering genuine exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence how people, culture and HR operations are delivered across the business.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality HR support across the full employee lifecycle, in a regulated financial services environment.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers on employee relations, performance management, absence and wellbeing.
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies, governance frameworks and people processes.
- Oversee HR administration, data accuracy, payroll coordination and compliance with UK employment law.
- Contribute to broader people initiatives including talent management, performance processes and engagement activity.
About you
- 5–8+ years’ experience in HR, ideally within financial services, trading or another fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Strong grounding in UK employment law and hands-on employee relations experience.
- Comfortable operating at Manager level in a lean organisation, balancing operational delivery with stakeholder engagement.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and confident managing multiple priorities.
- CIPD qualification (or working towards) advantageous but not essential.
