Job Description:

Criterion Hospitality is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Health & Safety Manager to support the delivery of best-in-class safety standards across our hotel portfolio.

This is a key operational role, working closely with the Group Head of Health, Safety & Security to ensure compliance, manage risk, and promote a strong safety culture across all properties.

The Role

Support the implementation of the Group Health & Safety strategy across all sites

Ensure compliance with UK H&S legislation and fire safety regulations

Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments across the portfolio

Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions

Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation

Deliver H&S training and promote awareness across teams

Work closely with Engineering, Operations, and site teams to ensure safe practices

Support emergency planning and business continuity processes

Liaise with external contractors and regulatory bodies

About You

Experience in a Health & Safety role within hospitality, FM, or multi-site environments

Strong understanding of UK health & safety legislation and compliance

NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) – essential

NEBOSH Diploma (or working towards) – desirable

Strong organisational and communication skills

Hands-on approach with attention to detail

Ability to build relationships and influence across teams
