Role Overview
Carpe Diem Tours is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to define, lead, and execute our marketing strategy across all channels. This is a player-coach role combining strategic ownership with hands-on involvement.
You will lead 2 in-house marketing teams (content team and distribution team), manage the relationship with our Marketing Agency, own the marketing budget, collaborate closely with senior leadership, and oversee external partners. You will take a proactive approach to identifying growth opportunities, improving performance, and evolving the marketing function, while acting as a key connection between the marketing department, the CEO, and the Board of Directors.
Your focus will be on driving growth in line with company projections while maintaining and evolving an established brand.

Marketing Fuctions You Will Own
- Performance & Channel Marketing: OTA marketing (leading the in-house OTA team), working with SEO writer network, and working with our Marketing Agency.
- B2B Partnerships and Sales: An area we are actively investing and growing in is B2B. We would like to set up a system with you and scale that.
- Content, Copy & Social Media: Oversight of all marketing copy and the in-house Copywriter and Content team
- Lifecycle & Email Marketing: Strategy, campaign integration, and performance alignment
- Digital Experience: Website content, performance, CRO, UX, and coordination with the internal tech team
- Brand, Innovation & Emerging Channels: Brand stewardship, AI/LLM search visibility, and testing new tools and approaches
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve marketing strategy in collaboration with leadership
- Plan and execute integrated, multi-channel campaigns
- Lead, align, and develop our in-house marketing teams
- Manage the relationship with the Marketing Agency
- Set up a system for our B2B sales and partnerships
- Own and manage the marketing budget and investment decisions
- Manage relationships with external partners
- Ensure brand consistency while supporting ongoing evolution
- Track performance, report results, and provide insights to leadership
Skills & Attributes
- Strategic, execution-focused marketer with strong ownership mentality
- Proven people leader able to set direction and hold teams accountable
- Creative thinker grounded in data and results
- Comfortable managing multiple teams, channels, and priorities
- Working knowledge of AI and LLM tools applied practically in marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Experiences & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of marketing experience with increasing responsibility
- Proven experience leading teams and owning marketing budgets
- Experience in tours or experience based businesses required
- Fluency in English required
Location & Work Style
- Hybrid role based in London
- In co-working 2 days a week.
- Travel to other Carpe Diem Tours destinations on a regular basis
