Job Description
As Operations, Importation & Logistics Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of The Freed From Group. Your first task will be to assist the management team bringing trade samples from the many producers we are working with to the United Kingdom in advance of the Group’s Launch event. Thereafter your role will adapt and grow as you assist us with the importation, logistics, and distribution processes for ‘MADE THE GRADE™’ drinks for sale to our trade customers in the United Kingdom. Your responsibilities will include ensuring efficient procedures, clear communication at all levels, and supporting the development and implementation of policies for the correct importation, handling, and distribution of our products. You will also maintain accurate and up-to-date data storage systems. Attention to detail, organisational skills, and strong analytical abilities are essential. With the Group’s rapid expansion, there is significant potential for personal development within this role.
Key Accountabilities:
- Coordinating the importation and distribution of non-alcoholic ‘MADE THE GRADE™’ drinks in the UK.
- Assisting in the development of inventory control systems.
- Collaborating closely with the Group’s management team to support suppliers (“Producers”).
- Working with Freed From teams, trade buyers, and shipping/logistics agents.
Desired Skills & Expertise
The ideal candidate will have:
- A bachelor’s degree, preferably in a relevant field.
- Clear evidence of great interest or professional experience in operations or logistics.
- Fluent English; proficiency in a second language, ideally German, is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
