Operations Lead – Pricing & Market Data (London)

Role Summary

Our client is seeking an Operations Lead to oversee the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of critical trading and market data platforms. This role sits at the heart of the business, ensuring operational excellence across front-office and risk systems, while maintaining strong regulatory compliance and service delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead operational management of trading and market data platforms (vendor and in-house systems)
• Oversee global support teams (L2 / DevOps), ensuring high availability and rapid incident resolution
• Act as escalation point for major incidents and drive root cause analysis
• Manage change, release, and service governance in line with best practices
• Ensure audit readiness and compliance across regulated applications
• Partner with Trading, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams to align operations with business needs
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and monitoring enhancements

Candidate Profile

Will ideally have:

• Strong experience managing production systems in trading or financial environments
• Proven leadership of support or DevOps teams in global settings
• Deep understanding of incident, problem, and change management frameworks (e.g. ITIL)
• Experience working in regulated environments with strong governance requirements
• Ability to operate as a senior escalation point across business-critical systems
