Finance Business Analyst – Basware, AP Automation, Source-to-Pay – Global

Outstanding opportunity to join this renowned, global law firm, within their Group Finance function on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract basis. This business is strengthening its global Finance function, and we’re looking for a Finance Business Analyst with extensive AP Automation experience to help deliver smarter systems, stronger controls and technology‑enabled change internationally.

This role is perfect for an experienced Finance BA with a transactional systems background, or a qualified accountant with a passion for finance technology & finance transformation.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and support Finance automation projects from idea to delivery
  • Improve processes, accuracy and controls across global Finance teams
  • Support new office openings and restructuring initiatives
  • Deliver training, documentation and structured testing
  • Contribute to ERP upgrades and reporting enhancements
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Finance systems (AP automation), policies and global accounting requirements
  • Maintain system configurations and support month‑end/year‑end processes

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience with AP automation (e.g., Basware) and Source‑to‑Pay
  • Cloud integration experience; SQL skills a plus
  • Strong problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management capability
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑moving environment
  • Experience working with developers to build innovative solutions
  • Qualified accountant or proven BA experience
  • Experience with finance transactional systems (e.g. Elite 3E, Aderant, Oracle, SAP) beneficial
  • Background in multinational Finance or professional services

£75k-£85k + 10% bonus + benefits. London (City) & 40% remote. 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
