Commercial Finance Analyst | Entertainment & Events

We’re excited to be partnering with a leading London-based entertainment and events business to hire a Commercial Finance Analyst. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a high-performing finance team supporting a dynamic, multi-revenue operation at scale.
This role is ideal for someone early in their finance career who is looking to step into a highly commercial, business-facing position with strong exposure and progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly management accounts preparation across multiple business areas
- Partner with department leads to provide performance insights and support reforecasting
- Analyse revenue trends and support commercial decision-making
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, including accruals and prepayments
- Support the budgeting, forecasting, and audit processe
- Work across multiple cost centres and revenue streams, providing financial insight
- Deliver ad hoc analysis, reporting, and financial modelling
Who We’re Looking For
- 2–3 years’ experience in a finance role
- Studying or planning to study ACCA / CIMA / AAT
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (accruals, prepayments, P&L)
- Confident Excel skills and good attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with non-finance stakeholders
- Proactive, curious, and eager to lear
