- Maintain a full understanding of eCourier’s service portfolio to effectively handle enquiries and ensure clients are matched with the right suite of services.
- Prepare professional proposals and quotations, and liaise with the Accounts department to ensure seamless new account opening processes.
- Utilise HubSpot to track all sales activity (calls, meetings, pipeline) and provide accurate sales reports and forecasts when required.
- Communicate all new business wins to the Operations team to ensure successful service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Take full responsibility for the management and nurturing of all New Business accounts during their first 12 months.
KPIs
- Consistent delivery against monthly sales and revenue targets as agreed with your manager.
- Meeting or exceeding call and outreach targets to ensure a healthy sales pipeline.
- Successful scheduling of both virtual (Teams) and face-to-face appointments with clients.
- Ensuring all enquiries are followed up and resolved within established company timescales.
- Producing comprehensive, accurate proposals and quotations that strictly adhere to eCourier branding guidelines.
- Ensuring all new accounts are set up correctly, with all documentation completed and distributed to the relevant departments on time.
- Maintaining high standards of punctuality and attendance, acting as a reliable representative of the brand.
Must haves
- A proven background in Business-to-Business sales, with the ability to navigate professional environments.
- Experience in cold calling via all communication channels and the confidence to engage in person.
- The ability to present solutions clearly and persuasively to potential clients.
- Resilience and a proactive approach to hitting targets and solving problems.
- The ability to work effectively across different departments and alongside various skill sets.
- Experience in logistics sales (sameday delivery experience is highly preferred, but not essential).
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, with particular expertise in PowerPoint for proposals and Excel for reporting and data management.
In return, we offer the opportunity to develop your career within a dynamic, supportive team dedicated to helping you reach your professional goals.
