Responsibilities

• Partner closely with creatives and designers to develop and bring ideas to life.
• A strong conceptual thinker who can develop campaignable ideas, not just captions.
• Confident writing across social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, paid social, web), with a clear understanding of how tone, pace and structure shift per channel.
• Fluent in creative copy (headlines, hooks, manifestos, launch lines), not just functional or retail-driven copy.
• Shape ideas that resonate with diverse audiences and markets.
• Be hands-on in the ideation of social and digital content.
• Fast, responsive and comfortable working to tight timelines.
• Write in a brand’s tone of voice, keeping it consistent across comms while adding to the storytelling with fresh thinking.
• Respond to feedback and iterate work with a positive, solutions-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• B.A. in Writing, English or similar degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5+ years’ experience in copywriting (agency experience preferably within an advertising or marketing agency).

Required Skills

• Ability to initiate and present concepts.
• Proven experience writing for social platforms including TikTok, Instagram and other short form and long form social channels.
• Strong understanding of how copy, culture, trends and platform mechanics come together to drive engagement.
• Knowledge of quality-assurance practices for production of communication deliverables.
• Motivated, organised, and flexible.
• Self-starter: positive-minded professional who can work unsupervised.
• Background in beauty, fashion or lifestyle is a bonus.
