Want to work in a team where you can make a difference? At Praeter Ltd., you assist business clients in reducing energy bills and making their energy consumption more sustainable. You become part of a diverse and rapidly growing team, where you quickly assume responsibilities and have ample opportunities for development. Whilst collaborating with other ambitious colleagues, you contribute to making the UK a bit greener and resilient through your work!
Who are we?
Praeter (www.praeter.energy) is an independent consultancy firm with a focus on making commercial & industrial real estate as energy efficient as possible.
We do this by advising businesses and organisations on a project basis on all technical, legal, operational and financial aspects of renewable energy solutions. As a result our clients achieve future-proof real estate, lower and more predictable energy bills, on-site energy security, and compliance with rapidly evolving regulations.
We work with a passionate and dynamic team of 20+ specialists from various sectors and expertise. With over 80 years of experience in project development, corporate business, and sustainability solutions, our Dutch office (www.praeter.nl) has become a trusted advisor to major clients, such as large banks (e.g. Rabobank, ABN AMRO), Councils (Rotterdam, The Hague) and a large number private enterprises in the domains of commercial & industrial real estate, retail, logistics, schools, automotive, offices and many more.
In 2024 we extended our operations to the United Kingdom, where we have been building Praeter Ltd. with great enthusiasm over the last two years. This has led to operational projects from Portsmouth up to Inverness and becoming a trusted partner to British clients such as Arnold Clark, Lloyds Banking Group and The Lost Shore. Therefore, it's now the right time to scale-up our UK business, and to achieve that growth we are looking for you.
What will you be doing?
As Business Development Manager you focus on driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding market presence.
You research potential clients/client groups, make and execute strategies to approach these potential clients, negotiate deals and develop relationships with key stakeholders.
Moreover, you support our project managers in tailoring and explaining our advice to clients. You will be part of a friendly and dynamic team, where you can develop your commercial skills and industry knowledge. At Praeter, you will be given a lot of responsibility and offered a learning environment with ample room for your personal development.
