Apply for the Full-Stack Software Engineer (Robotics Infrastructure) | Zurich
Location: London
Job Description:

About Our Client

Our client is a pre-seed deep-tech startup building the next generation of autonomous security infrastructure.

Their platform connects mobile robots, advanced sensors, and AI systems into a unified command layer — enabling faster detection, smarter verification, and real-time response in critical environments.

  • Location: Zurich, Switzerland | On-site
  • Employment Type: Full-time | Senior
  • Compensation: CHF 100,000 – CHF 120,000 + meaningful equity
  • Relocation Support: Available for Suitable Candidates

Mission

Western infrastructure is under more pressure than ever — and still under-protected.

Our client is solving this by building a command, control, coordination, and orchestration platform that transforms robotics and sensor networks into a single, trusted responder.

This is not theoretical AI — this is real-world autonomy operating in live environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Build end-to-end systems: React UI APIs backend deployment
  • Develop real-time distributed systems (streaming, WebSockets, networking)
  • Design and operate cloud infrastructure & CI/CD pipelines
  • Work on AI/ML pipelines + robotics-connected systems
  • Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance in production
  • Own systems fully: architecture implementation deployment

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years building and operating production systems
  • Strong full-stack expertise: React, Node.js and/or Python
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, cloud environments
  • Hands-on work with real-time distributed systems
  • High ownership mindset + ability to operate independently
  • Clear communicator with low ego, high ambition

What You’ll Get

  • Competitive salary + meaningful equity (early-stage upside)
  • Visa sponsorship & relocation support available
  • Best-in-class hardware & tools
  • Opportunity to build systems used outside the lab in real environments
  • Direct impact on AI, robotics, and critical infrastructure systems

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Early-stage, high-impact role (pre-seed) — shape product, architecture, and engineering culture
  • Work on real-world robotics + AI systems, not lab prototypes
  • Build infrastructure powering security, defense, and critical infrastructure resilience
  • Join a top-tier founding team (ex-Cambridge, UCL, Imperial, TUM, Helsing)
  • Full ownership across the product lifecycle with strong autonomy

Ready to build real-world systems at the intersection of robotics, AI, and infrastructure? Apply now and be part of something foundational…
