Location: Rosyth, Fife (Hybrid – 3 days on-site) Contract: Approx. 9 months (ASAP start) Hours: 36 hrs a week | Mon-Fri, 4.5 days – half day Friday Pay: £250 – £400 per day Security Clearance: SC required

Overview

Opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join a major defence engineering programme supporting large-scale shipbuilding projects. You’ll work closely with operational teams to provide financial insight, support decision-making, and improve processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to monitor performance and provide financial insight
• Deliver budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting
• Build and maintain financial models and ensure controls are in place
• Support internal and external audits
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies

Requirements (Essential)

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• 2-5 years’ post-qualified experience (PQE)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder engagement
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills

Desirable Experience

• Defence, nuclear, or xwzovoh large infrastructure project experience
