The Role
We’re looking for a commercially driven, strategically minded New Business Director to lead and accelerate our growth. This is a senior role focused on identifying opportunities, building relationships, and converting prospects into long‑term clients.
You’ll sit at the heart of the agency, working closely with senior leadership, marketing, and client teams to shape our proposition and win new business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a proactive new business strategy aligned with agency growth goals
- Identify, target, and engage prospective clients across key sectors
- Lead the full pitch process—from initial outreach to proposal development and closing
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to craft compelling, insight‑driven proposals
- Represent the agency at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities
- Contribute to the agency’s marketing and positioning strategy
About You
- Proven track record in a New Business, Growth, or Business Development role within a PR or communications agency
- Strong network of industry contacts and ability to open doors
- Excellent pitch and presentation skills
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation abilities
- Strategic thinker with a hands‑on, proactive approach
- Confident, personable, and highly motivated
- Experience managing complex, multi‑stakeholder pitch processes
This role offers hybrid working, with 1 or 2 days of remote working per week.
