Charity Shop Manager

We’re looking for a motivated Shop Manager to lead our friendly charity shop team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves retail, enjoys working with people, and wants their work to have real social impact.

About the Role

As our Shop Manager, you’ll be responsible for the smooth, profitable and welcoming running of the shop. Your key duties will include:

• Overseeing donations – sorting, pricing, and presenting stock to maximise sales
• Managing and supporting volunteers – creating a positive, inclusive environment where everyone feels valued
• Daily shop operations – including opening/closing, cash handling, and accurate cashing‑up
• Driving sales and profitability
• Promoting the charity’s mission – acting as an ambassador for our work and helping raise awareness in the local community

About You

• Confident, organised, and able to take initiative
• Experienced in retail or customer‑facing roles
• Comfortable leading and motivating volunteers
• Passionate about charity work and animal welfare
