About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Product Manager to take ownership of an established product portfolio and roadmap within a dynamic, mission-led organisation operating in the intellectual property and digital content space.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys solving complex challenges, and is passionate about delivering high-value digital products that meet real customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the product roadmap, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and to a high standard
  • Work closely with IT, business analysts, external developers, and internal stakeholders to deliver product enhancements and new features
  • Translate market, customer, and user insights into clear product requirements and priorities
  • Drive product adoption and usage, working in partnership with marketing and customer support teams
  • Take full accountability for product performance, including budget management, UX, and overall success metrics
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to ensure data-informed decision making
  • Develop and launch new product features in collaboration with sector and business leads
  • Monitor product performance and continuously identify opportunities for improvement
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Maintain a clear understanding of the competitive landscape and provide market insights
  • Line manage and support two members of the Product Support team

About You

You are a strategic and hands‑on product leader with a strong track record of delivering successful digital products.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience managing end-to-end product lifecycles
  • Experience developing products for specific markets (ideally Higher Education or corporate sectors)
  • Strong understanding of customer‑led product development
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and prioritisation skills
  • Strong analytical mindset with a curiosity for data and insights
  • Experience managing product budgets
  • Ability to write clear, structured product requirements for technical teams
  • Confident working cross‑functionally to align teams and deliver outcomes
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Visio or similar is a plus)

Additional Information
