Interim VP IT (Transformation, Integration & AI Automation)

We are partnering with a private equity-backed global software business entering a critical phase of value creation.
Following rapid growth and multiple acquisitions, the business now requires an Interim VP IT to simplify, integrate, and modernise its technology estate, while deploying AI-led automation to drive efficiency and scale.
This is a high-impact mandate for a proven operator who has delivered end-to-end IT transformation in complex SaaS environments.
The Remit
You will be accountable for turning a fragmented, multi-entity technology landscape into a unified, scalable platform that enables growth, operational efficiency, and AI adoption.
Key priorities:
- Integrate and consolidate global systems across ERP, CRM, HRIS, and core platforms
- Build a cohesive enterprise architecture, reducing duplication, technical debt, and cost
- Establish a joined-up data environment, enabling real-time visibility and decisioning
- Lead post-acquisition integration, creating a repeatable, scalable integration playbook
- Deliver AI-led automation across internal operations, removing manual processes and improving productivity
- Embed AI into core workflows across finance, customer operations, and support functions
- Stabilise and scale the IT function to support continued international growth

Profile
We are looking for a hands-on transformation leader with a track record of delivery in PE-backed or high-growth SaaS environments.
You will bring:
- Experience leading IT in a software or SaaS business, ideally through a period of scale or integration
- Proven delivery of technology transformation programmes, including system consolidation and architecture redesign
- Strong experience in M&A integration, unifying systems, data, and processes across acquired entities
- A track record of leading AI and automation initiatives, delivering tangible operational and cost benefits
- Experience deploying AI-driven workflows and automation within internal business functions
- Deep understanding of enterprise systems and integration strategies
- A commercial mindset, with the ability to link technology decisions to value creation and performance improvement
