Excellent salary, benefits and career opportunities

We are partnering with a well‑established contractor delivering cutting‑edge data centre projects for globally recognised clients. Due to continued growth, they’re looking to bring in a Senior CSA Design Engineer to play a pivotal role on a flagship scheme in London.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a senior position where you’ll influence design decisions, drive coordination across disciplines, and help deliver highly technical, mission‑critical infrastructure.

You will take ownership of Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) design packages, ensuring they are practical, compliant, and aligned with the demands of a fast‑paced construction environment. Working closely with project leadership, consultants, and subcontractors you’ll help shape solutions that are both innovative and buildable.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the development and coordination of CSA design across all project stages
  • Reviewing and refining design solutions to ensure efficiency, compliance, and constructability
  • Managing design packages from early concept through to site delivery
  • Collaborating with MEP teams to resolve interface challenges and deliver fully integrated solutions
  • Engaging with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners to keep designs on track
  • Identifying risks early and implementing practical solutions to maintain programme and quality
  • Contributing to value engineering and technical optimisation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Supporting site teams with technical input, design clarifications, and problem‑solving

Suitable candidate will have:

  • Strong experience delivering CSA design on large, complex construction projects
  • Background in data centres or other mission‑critical environments is highly advantageous
  • Degree‑qualified in Civil, Structural, Architectural Engineering (or similar)
  • Solid understanding of UK building regulations and industry standards
  • Proficient with design and BIM tools (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit)
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and coordinate across disciplines
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Chartered status (or working towards it) would be a plus

Why consider this opportunity?

You’ll be joining a business with a strong reputation for delivering technically challenging projects for blue‑chip clients, offering a collaborative environment where your expertise will genuinely shape project outcomes. With a strong pipeline of work, this role also offers excellent long‑term career progression within the data centre sector.
