The Role
The Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for leading and inspiring a team of talented individuals to provide an exceptional customer experience and utilize entrepreneurial skills to develop and grow the business in partnership with the Store Manager.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for driving sales to reach goals and assist with sales in the boutique during busy times.
- Responsible for all administrative work.
- Oversee stock management: ensuring smooth inventory, handling buyback, RTV, pricing stock, and ensuring all creations are shipped correctly and fully verified.
- Train and lead the team to provide excellent customer service and high performance in sales ceremonies.
- Be an ambassador of the brand: assist the store manager with clienteling activities and manage high‑profile client relations, identifying customer needs and building long‑lasting relationships.
- Prepare and write reports (daily, weekly, monthly) within deadlines in a comprehensive manner, including Time Attendance and other required reports.
- Maintain the store’s appearance to be inviting and welcoming, including all maintenance matters, and ensure full execution of corporate strategies and procedures.
- Analyze and interpret performance information to support team improvement.
- Analyze and interpret KPIs to implement actions that drive business.
- Manage staff performance, shifts, duties, holidays, and absences.
- Work with external partners (e.g., hotels/concierges) to create business opportunities.
- Review and implement systems, processes, and procedures to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient store operation.
Skills
- 5+ years of experience as a Retail leader.
- Luxury fashion/retail industry experience.
- Experience in a concession in Harrods is a plus.
- An entrepreneur capable of driving results, adaptable, problem solver, and strategic.
- Well connected with strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
- Elevated customer service skills; a true fashion expert with a passion for sales.
- Strong in talent development and leadership.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
