Group Financial Reporting Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Group Financial Reporting Manager to join a dynamic and growing organisation. This role offers excellent exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to play a key role in delivering financial reporting within a complex, multi-entity environment.

The Role

You will take ownership of the group’s statutory reporting and consolidation processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. You will work closely with senior finance leadership and play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement across reporting and technical accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and delivery of consolidated statutory financial statements (interim and annual) under IFRS
• Manage the end-to-end annual report process
• Oversee the monthly group consolidation process and associated systems
• Prepare financial updates and reporting packs for senior stakeholders and audit committees
• Ensure the timely production of monthly management accounts
• Act as the subject matter expert on technical accounting matters, including drafting technical papers
• Manage external audit processes, ensuring efficient coordination and delivery
• Partner with tax and legal advisors on corporate projects, including restructuring
• Oversee group-wide tax and lease accounting requirements
• Maintain and enhance the group accounting policies and procedures
• Support, mentor, and develop junior team members

About You

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
• 2–3+ years’ post-qualification experience within a relevant industry role
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly IFRS
• Experience working in a complex, multi-entity organisation
• Proven ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
• Advanced Excel skills and strong report‑writing capability
• A proactive mindset with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams
