About The Role
We’re looking for a Strategic Senior Account Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of high-profile global beauty accounts. This is a leadership role for someone who can drive both strategy and execution at pace, delivering best-in‑class work across social and activation that moves the needle for our clients.
You will lead the development of strategic, multi‑channel campaigns across influencer, content, and activation translating business objectives into clear, high‑impact plans and ensuring flawless delivery from start to finish.
You’ll act as a trusted partner to clients, building strong, commercially‑minded relationships while holding a high bar for quality, creativity, and performance. Internally, you will lead and develop junior team members, setting clear expectations and driving a culture of excellence.
The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of experience, either in‑house in a Strategic Marketing Manager Role or Agency side in a Senior Account Manager Role, with a strong background in beauty. You are confident in managing multiple workstreams, comfortable operating in fast‑paced environments, and known for delivering high‑quality work with precision and consistency.
What You’ll Do:
- Team Lead: You will be the day‑to‑day lead for key clients, translating briefs and business objectives into clear, strategic plans with actionable workstreams across paid and organic influencer, content, and activation.
- Strategy: You bring a strong understanding of key marketing channels spanning social (TikTok, TikTok Shop, Meta, Snap), content, media, and activation, alongside audience behaviour and insights. You use this to develop and contribute to sophisticated, creative strategies that align with client objectives and are grounded in clear, measurable KPIs.
- Present with Confidence: You are a compelling communicator, able to present work, performance, and insights with clarity and authority.
- Quality & Attention to Detail: You act as the gatekeeper for all client‑facing work, ensuring every output is delivered to the highest standard with precision and consistency.
- Problem Solving: You proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and challenges early, taking ownership to resolve them before they escal.
- Trend Awareness: You stay ahead of trends inclusive and not limited to (TikTok, meta, TikTok shop, eventing) and competitor activity, and platform developments, ensuring your clients remain culturally relevant and best‑in‑class.
Project Management:
- Highly Organised: You maintain accurate trackers and oversee end‑to‑end project workflows, ensuring on‑time delivery to NORTH standards.
- You lead timeline management, critical paths, and internal and client reviews, ensuring all deliverables meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- You collaborate closely with internal teams across functions to align timelines with client needs and priorities.
Budget Management:
- You own and manage client budgets with precision, confidently planning, allocating, and reconciling spend with strong commercial awareness.
Reporting:
- You lead all client reporting, coordinating inputs and overseeing final outputs to ensure performance is clearly tracked against KPIs, with actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
- You are a strong and supportive leader, ensuring junior team members clearly understand their roles and responsibilities while actively mentoring their development.
- You invest in your team’s growth through coaching and guidance, setting clear expectations on delivery, standards, and timelines.
Commercial Development:
- You build strong, trusted client relationships through excellent delivery.
- You proactively identify opportunities for account growth and expansion.
MUST HAVES:
- 6+ years’ experience across fast-growing brands (in‑house) in a Strategic Marketing Role or Senior Account Manager roles within agencies
- Proven experience working on beauty and lifestyle brands, with a strong understanding of the category
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-value client relationships with confidence and authority
- Strong commercial mindset, you understand how your work drives revenue, growth, and ROI
- Proven ability to own and manage multi‑channel campaigns end‑to‑end, from strategy through to execution
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to run multiple complex workstreams simultaneously without compromising quality
- Highly organised, detail‑obsessed, and accountable, you take ownership and deliver to a consistently high standard
- Confident decision‑maker who can operate with autonomy and move at pace
- Strong understanding of social, influencer, and content ecosystems, with a clear view on what drives performance
- Excellent communication and presentation skills — clear, concise, and compelling
- Proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing high‑performing team members
- Proactive and solutions‑focused, you anticipate challenges and solve problems before they arise
- Deep cultural awareness and instinct for trends, with the ability to translate them into impactful work
