Join us a Product Owner to support the design and development of a brand new digital tool for our Front Office teams. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business, partnering with design, engineering and commercial teams to build a truly user‑centric solution from the ground up. This product will boost productivity and enhance colleague experience, with a strong focus on delivering measurable commercial outcomes.
This role requires someone who can balance competing priorities, navigate ambiguity, and provide clear direction to full‑stack squads. It’s an unique opportunity to shape a product from inception and make a tangible impact.
Experience and Qualifications
- Product ownership and delivery discipline: proven experience owning products or features across the full lifecycle – from discovery and definition through to delivery and iteration. Ability to build, refine and prioritise backlogs and work with cross‑functional teams to deliver them. Experience working with Lean delivery methodology.
- Operating in ambiguity and driving clarity: comfortable working in undefined problem spaces, can shape problems as well as work with cross‑functional teams to solve them. Able to create clarity, structure and direction where they may not exist.
- Working in cross‑functional teams: demonstrated ability to work closely with engineering, design, data, operations and business stakeholders as a single team.
Highly Valued Skills
- Managing complex stakeholders: experience working with diverse stakeholders, setting and managing expectations, communicating effectively with key stakeholder groups.
- Experience in platform/enterprise products: background working on products with multiple dependencies, legacy systems, integration points, rather than simple, standalone product features.
- Financial services domain knowledge: experience working with banking products, regulatory constraints, or risk/compliance frameworks.

Purpose of the role
The purpose of a Product Owner is to maximise the value of the product by defining a clear product vision, managing authoring, refining and prioritising the Product Backlog, balancing trade‑offs across desirability, viability and feasibility – making sure the right thing is being ‘built’, and prioritising work based on business goals. They act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring the product meets user/customer needs and delivers optimal value. Product Owners are responsible for developing a roadmap and driving execution of their product area/sub‑journey, applying continuous improvement principles and techniques.
