Role Overview

The Project Sales Manager (End User) is responsible for developing, managing, and delivering acoustic projects directly with end clients across the UK.

This is a full lifecycle role, taking ownership from initial enquiry through to design, sale, and installation. The role includes site engagement, solution development, coordination with internal teams, and full project delivery.

The position will have a primary focus on the education sector, while also managing all inbound enquiries ranging from single product orders through to full supply and installation projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire process from enquiry to delivery, ensuring strong commercial performance, technical accuracy, and high-quality project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development and Client Management

  • Manage and respond to inbound enquiries, from single product requests to full project opportunities.
  • Build relationships with end users including schools, academies, universities, and commercial clients.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities, particularly within the education sector.
  • Build and maintain a strong and active sales pipeline.
  • Provide regular sales reporting and pipeline updates.

Site Surveys and Project Development

  • Travel to site to meet clients and assess project requirements.
  • Carry out site surveys and measurements to inform design and costing.Develop tailored acoustic solutions based on client needs and site conditions.
  • Specify appropriate products and systems in collaboration with internal teams.

Design, Estimating and Technical Coordination

  • Work closely with the design team to develop layouts and project schemes.
  • Collaborate with estimating teams to produce accurate and commercially viable proposals.
  • Liaise with acoustic specialists to ensure performance requirements are achieved.
  • Present proposals, designs, and recommendations to clients.

Sales and Project Delivery

  • Convert opportunities into secured projects and revenue.
  • Take full ownership of projects from enquiry through to installation and completion.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and installers to ensure successful delivery.
  • Manage timelines, client expectations, and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard.

Installation and Supply Chain Management

  • Build and manage a network of subcontract installers across the UK.
  • Coordinate installation activities and ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Oversee project delivery on site where required.
  • Resolve on-site issues to ensure smooth project completion.

Key Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Experience in sales within commercial interiors, fit-out, or construction-related products.
  • Proven experience managing projects from enquiry through to delivery.
  • Ability to carry out site surveys and measurements.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to close sales.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Desirable

  • Experience within the education sector.
  • Experience with acoustic products or interior architectural systems.
  • Knowledge of workplace interiors or fit-out projects.
  • Experience working with subcontract installers.
  • Understanding of drawings, specifications, and construction processes.
