Project Engineer

A great opportunity is now available for Project Engineers to join a well-established Oil and Gas company based in Aberdeen. We are looking for a Junior Project Engineer and a Senior Project Engineer. You will be joining a global company that works on decommissioning projects across the world, offering the chance to go on offshore trips 3-6 months per year depending on your availability. If you have strong design and hands‑on mechanical experience with subsea tooling, these skills can be transferable to this role.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee new builds (subsea tools).
• Carry out technical and administrative tasks.
• Manage project costs and ensure timely completion of projects.
• Create engineering procedures, bid proposals and testing documentation.
• Review engineering deliverables.
• Participate in design reviews for tooling.
• Provide technical support to clients during tender process.
• Create new designs and perform design verification.
• Become an offshore lead on cutting work scopes.
• Undertake testing, diagnostics and repair of equipment.
• Report any incidents.
• Participate in meetings.

Essential

• Minimum 3-5 years in a similar role.
• Strong mechanical and hydraulics ability.
• Flexible for travel.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks or similar).

Desirable

• Engineering Degree
• Subsea tooling experience

Salary

£45-60K + Offshore Uplift
