Job Description
We are working with a leading international law firm who are seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Employment Law practice within their Belfast office.
The Role
The successful candidate will join a market leading Employment team, supporting clients in a range of international and domestic employment matters. The candidate’s duties will include advising on diligence reviews, strategic HR advisory work, co-ordinating multi-jurisdictional disclosure schedules, conducting investigations, and working on Employment Tribunal claims.
The candidate will play a key role in advising a diverse international and domestic client-base on cross-border and high-profile employment law matters, supporting the firm’s London-based global team from their Belfast office. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to contribute to business development while managing client relationships.
Essential Criteria
- 1-3 PQE;
- Strong background in employment law within a medium to large commercial firm;
- Excellent commercial awareness;
- Outstanding academics;
- Negotiation skills;
- Willingness to become involved in business development;
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
