Employment Solicitor – Legal 500 Firm – Essex

A highly regarded Legal 500 firm in Essex is seeking an Employment Solicitor to join its established and growing employment team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to work on high-quality contentious and non-contentious matters within a supportive firm offering flexibility, progression, and a competitive salary package.
The Role From a recruitment perspective, this position offers a varied and engaging caseload, including:
- Advising employers and employees on a wide range of employment law matters
- Handling Employment Tribunal claims including unfair dismissal, discrimination, and whistleblowing
- Advising on disciplinary and grievance procedures, redundancy, and restructuring processes
- Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and settlement agreements
- Advising on TUPE transfers and business reorganisations
- Managing matters from initial instruction through to resolution
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to business development

- Qualified Solicitor with experience in employment law
- Strong technical knowledge across contentious and advisory matters
- Ability to manage a caseload independently with appropriate supervision
