Production Process Technician As a Production Process Technician, you will be a key member of the Bulk Cheese and Whey team playing a vital role in ensuring safe and efficient production of quality cheese and whey products. You must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends, nightshifts, early starts and late finishes as required. In addition this role can also involve holiday/absence cover across differing shift patterns. The Role Overseeing the operation of machinery involved in cheese and whey production ensuring efficiency and adherence to strict food safety protocols. Conducting regular quality checks on raw materials, intermediate product and finished goods. Resolve issues promptly and efficiently to minimise production downtime. Maintain accurate records of production activities. Ensure compliance with sanitation procedures and food hygiene standards. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiencies within the department. The Person Essential: Good level of general education min 4 GCSEs (inc English and Maths) or equivalent. A minimum of 2 years relevant food manufacturing / FMCG experience. A demonstrable technical skill eg: mechanical, electrical/electronic or mechatronics. Strong verbal, written and computerised communication skills. Ability to clearly demonstrate an ability to communicate to and work with to a range of internal and external stakeholders professionally and effectively. Desirable: H&S experience or responsibilities in a manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of a Scada based manufacturing plant. Working knowledge of a Cheese or Whey Production Process.
