The Role As our Digital Delivery Lead, you will playa central rolein delivering SONIs Digital Programme and shaping our digital strategy and roadmap. You will help the organisation understand how digital tools and technologies can create value, and you will drive the delivery ofpractical, outcomefocused digital change. This role blends strategy, handson delivery, stakeholder engagement, and digital innovation. You will work across multiple business areas, ensuring digital initiatives support SONIslongtermgoals and enabling colleagues to build digital capability across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Work closely with teams across SONI to understand their digital needs, offering guidance and translating ideas into practical digital solutions. Maintainand prioritise the digital backlog, helping to define features and user stories. Use your knowledge of emerging technologies to shape digital solutions that addreal businessvalue. Support the planning and delivery of the Digital Strategy and Digital Programme (including Power Platform capabilities and Microsoft 365 rollout). Break down programmeobjectivesinto clear phases of work and ensure digital capabilities are aligned with business needs. Build strong relationships across the organisation and engage stakeholders to support digital transformation. Work closely with technical teams and external partners toidentifychallenges, givedirectionand support solution development. Promote a usercentred design approach in digital projects and services. Support the development of digital skills across the organisation to help embed new tools and ways of working. Oversee local operations of the Power Platform Centre for Enablement (C4E), ensuring visibility of all implementations and quality of service. Oversee the implementation ofcloud-basedsolutions provided by specialist third parties. Manage digital change initiatives from start to finish, ensuring scope, budget and timelines are met. Prepare progress updates and reports on milestones and deliverables. Use agile methods and practices whereappropriate, collaborating closely with wider IT teams. Plan and coordinate demos and product testing, engaging business users effectively. Partner with business colleagues to ensure expected benefits and outcomes are achieved. Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes and ways of working. Critical Knowledge,Skillsand Experience Essential: Experience working with digital technologies and in an agile environment, or strong understanding of agile concepts. Recognised project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMBOK). Ability to motivate and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders. Ability toidentifyrisks, issues and opportunities for improvement and drive change. Strong organisational and interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a complex environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of the energy sector isadvantageousbut not essential. Desirable: Experience working in the utility or energy sectors.
