The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in selling analytical software to medium and large institutional investors, coupled with a desire to excel at an established fintech with over 20 years of success and innovation.
We are looking for a true Hunter who is entrepreneurial and team minded, with experience across the full sales process: cold calls/emails/LinkedIn, creating their own meetings, managing demos and trials, explaining platform delivery options, handling objections, negotiating contracts, and handing over to the Client support team.
What you will get to do:
You will engage with the world’s biggest decision makers – Asset Managers, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Funds Advisors, Pension Funds, Endowment Funds, Fund of Hedge Funds and Family Offices in Europe and USA. You should be able to engage in conversations with Analysts, Portfolio Managers, COOs and CIOs, understand how they perform manager research, select and compare hedge funds and private funds, have a deep understanding of finance and explain how our analytical software can help them select best-of-breed funds, build and monitor portfolios, and perform qualitative due diligence analysis. The company requires the candidate to work in the office a minimum of 3 days per week.
Other responsibilities:
- Achieve your annual sales target
- Collaborate with the product specialist teams to manage demos and trials
- Provide feedback to the product team
- Partner with marketing to generate and nurture leads
- Work collaboratively with the Head of Sales to execute sales strategies
What you will bring:
- Must have 3+ years of expert experience in the full sales cycle preferably to pension funds, banks and asset managers.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with an analytics mindset, ideally finance, economics, accounting or mathematics.
- You understand the asset selection process, hedge funds, private equity funds, statistics (volatility, correlation, beta, VaR), and modern portfolio theory. xwzovoh
- Have generated over $800,000USD in new sales annually
- Demonstrable communication, presentation, relationship, and collaboration skills
- Time management skills, experience managing more than 10 client relationships at any given time
- Experience within financial services sector is mandatory
- Consummate professional with a hunter mentality
