Audit Semi Senior

Salary: £40,000+ Depending on experience

Location: Goffs Oak or Stevenage

Job description

• Be ACA or ACCA Part-Qualified, or AAT qualified ideally with first time passes
• Have at least 15 months’ experience including audit testing
• Demonstrate the desire to complete your qualification

Responsibilities

• Background working in an accountancy practice
• Proven experience of working on statutory audit assignments at audit senior level and leading on site audit teams
• Experience of preparing/reviewing statutory financial statements including disclosure requirements
• Experience of planning audit assignments including carrying out risk assessments
• Ability to manage projects and teams and to work to tight deadlines
• A good working knowledge of FRS102 (including disclosure requirements), applicable company law and International Standards of Auditing (UK)
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel
• Must be eligible to work in the UK without any restrictions
• Must be available to work at both firm and client premises

Desirable Criteria

• Experience in the preparation of company accounts from client xwzovoh accounting records
• Experience in the use of preparing financial statements using an accounts production software package
