Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Design Manager to join the Panel South team working across the West Midlands and surrounding areas.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring and assuring the governance of all design activities for a specific project/projects across the lifetime of the project/projects including Pre-contract, Mobilisation, Construction & Handback.
Job Requirements
The successful candidate must have the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams both internally and externally. With a strong design background, knowledge of contractual and railway regulation obligations and exceptional coordination skills.
Hardworking and professional, you will have experience of working within a team in a busy environment and working to deadlines. xwzovoh An excellent communicator, you will also be confident in dealing with external clients as well as other disciplines within the business.
The candidate will also ideally have the following experience/skill set:
- A degree in an appropriate engineering subject
- Experience of design management across a series of multi-disciplinary rail systems
- Financial and planning experience
- CAD / Microsoft office skills
- Full driving licence
- PTS
