Sheltered Housing Officer (Temporary)
promote social events and activities; be responsible for security and fire safety within the properties as well as being a friend and adviser to tenants.
You must have experience of clerical/administrative work and of providing a service to older people or people with a disability. have previous experience of liaising with a wide range of agencies and a knowledge of the needs of older people. You should have a flexible approach to work, as you may be required to work overtime at short notice and work at any of our 11 Sheltered Housing Complexes.
You will ideally have a qualification that meets the Scottish Social Services Council registration criteria e.g. SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, or an equivalent qualification at Level 6 (Scottish Credit & Qualification Framework) or above, if not you must be prepared to undertake the qualification.
