Are you highly organised, customer‑focused, and confident making technical decisions in a fast‑paced environment? We are looking for a Divisional Technical Support Officer to join our Building Maintenance Division and play a key role in supporting the effective upkeep of our housing stock.
About the Role
As a Divisional Technical Support Officer, you will provide essential support to Building Maintenance Coordinators and Officers by inspecting and surveying council properties to identify maintenance and repair needs. You’ll be a central point of contact for technical enquiries, helping us deliver high‑quality and responsive building services to our tenants and service users.
This is a varied and rewarding role involving property inspections, contractor liaison, customer engagement, and ensuring works are completed to specification.
You will hold a full Driving Licence, bring strong communication, organisational, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to prioritise your workload and work both independently and as part of a team. You’ll be comfortable dealing with a variety of people, sometimes in challenging situations, and confident making decisions based on technical observations.
If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership, the cost of which will be met by the preferred candidate.
