Candidates will live in the Surrey, West Sussex, Berkshire, Slough, Hertfordshire, or Buckinghamshire area and will cover this area as a territory. You will visit the office one day a week and spend the remaining four days out on the road conducting appointments.
SALARY
£35,000 to £45,000 (depending on experience) with an additional £10,000 to £15,000 on top in commission (completely uncapped). Includes car or car allowance, 20 days annual leave, and company pension.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for selling stairlifts, platform lifts, through‑floor lifts, ceiling hoists, and door automation solutions to local authorities (Grant Officers and Occupational Therapists), care homes, and consumers. Your duties include:
- Gaining leads and specifications from Occupational Therapists.
- Arranging appointments with customers at their homes.
- Conducting site surveys and offering the best solutions.
- Preparing detailed quotations to win the business.
- Conducting 4 to 6 appointments a day and visiting the office once a week.
QUALIFICATION
Successful candidates will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Sales Surveyor or Area Sales Manager within the mobility/stairlift sector. You should be able to conduct site surveys and put together quotations. If this sounds of interest, please apply ASAP.
