As part of this growth, an opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Governance Manager to join a well-established and highly regarded Corporate Governance team. This is a pivotal role offering the chance to manage your own client portfolio, support senior leadership, and play a key part in the continued development of the function.
This is a specialist, non-administrative position, suited to an experienced governance professional looking to step into a broader, more influential role within a scaling business.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate clients and LLPs, delivering high-quality governance and company secretarial services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing company formations and LLP incorporations
- Supporting corporate restructures and reorganisations
- Maintaining statutory registers and company records
- Preparing and submitting Confirmation Statements and statutory filings
- Drafting board minutes, resolutions and governance documentation
- Managing day-to-day company secretarial matters including director changes and registered office updates
- Conducting Companies House searches and ensuring compliance
- Supporting the Governance Manager with departmental workload and strategic initiatives
- Supervising and developing junior team members and trainees
About You

You will have:
- CGI qualification (essential or close to completion)
- Proven experience in corporate governance, company secretarial or compliance roles
- Strong knowledge of statutory requirements and Companies House processes
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
- Experience using governance systems such as Diligent Entities (desirable)
- A proactive mindset with the ability to problem solve and use initiative
