We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Internal Auditor to join a dynamic and evolving internal audit function within a large, international organisation. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of business areas, providing independent assurance and valuable insights that support effective risk management, governance, and control processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver end-to-end internal audits, from planning through to reporting
- Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance frameworks
- Identify control weaknesses and provide practical, value-adding recommendations
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across various business functions
- Prepare clear, concise audit reports for senior management
- Support the development and execution of the internal audit plan
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the audit function
- Mentor and support junior team members where appropriate
About You
- Proven experience in internal audit, external audit, or risk assurance
- Professionally qualified or working towards a qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of risk and internal control frameworks
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities
- High level of integrity and professional judgement
- Experience within a large, complex, or international organisation
- Exposure to operational, financial, and/or compliance audits
- Familiarity with data analytics tools or audit software
- Experience working in regulated environments
