This role reports directly to the Regulatory Compliance Manager and offers a strong opportunity for someone early in their compliance career to gain hands-on exposure to regulatory monitoring, governance reporting and compliance framework support within a structured environment.
The Role:
You will support the day-to-day operation of the firm’s compliance framework, helping to ensure the business meets its regulatory obligations and internal standards. 4 days a week in the London Office.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting the Regulatory Compliance Manager in second-line oversight activities
- Assisting with compliance monitoring and testing in line with the Compliance Monitoring Plan
- Gathering and maintaining evidence, documenting findings and tracking remediation actions
- Maintaining compliance registers (breaches, complaints, conflicts of interest)
- Supporting regulatory submissions and information requests
- Contributing to management information (MI) and governance reporting
- Acting as a point of support for first-line teams, escalating queries where appropriate xwzovoh
- 1–2 years’ experience in compliance, risk, legal or within a regulated financial services environment
- A basic understanding of UK financial services regulation
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- A genuine interest in developing a long-term career in regulatory compliance
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under supervision
