Forgewell Partners are currently supporting a well-established packagingmanufacturing business who are looking to add aMulti-Skilled Engineerto their engineering team as part of continued investment across the site.
The role sits within a fast-paced production environment where engineering is central to keeping operations running efficiently. The team is made up of experienced, hands-on engineers who work closely with production, with a focus not just on reactive support but onpreventative maintenance, reliability improvementand continuous improvement across the plant.
The position will involve working across a range of production and automated equipment includingprocessing lines. From an electrical perspective you’ll befault findingon motors, drives, sensors andPLC-controlled systems, while also supporting mechanical maintenance across the site including pneumatics and hydraulics. There will also be opportunity to get involved in improvement projects, equipment commissioning and planned maintenance activity.

The ideal candidate will be a confident,multi-skilled engineerwith astrong electrical biaswho is comfortable fault finding in a busy manufacturing environment and happy working across both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
To be considered:
- Experience working as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment
- Strong electrical fault-finding ability onmotors, drives, sensors, control panels
- Working knowledge of PLCs, fault finding essential, programming a bonus
- Mechanical maintenance experience including pneumatics and hydraulics
- Background in food, FMCG or similar high-volume manufacturing
- Familiarity with PPM schedules, safe isolation and permit to work systems
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or time-served apprenticeship)
- 17th or 18th Edition wiring regulations desirable
