Your responsibilities as Site HR Manager
- Lead all on-site HR activity, aligning people plans with operational goals
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, and payroll oversight
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations, including union engagement
- Drive talent development, succession planning, and workforce capability
- Partner with leadership to deliver change initiatives and improve performance
- Strengthen engagement and maintain a positive, inclusive working environment
What we’re looking for in a Site HR Manager
- CIPD qualification or equivalent practical experience
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or operational environment
- Experience working with trade unions and managing complex ER cases
- Proven ability to operate in a standalone HR role with strategic input
Working hours: 37.5 or 30 hours per week across 5 days
