Project Manager – Retail Fit-Out

UK-Wide (National Travel Required)

£75,000 + Package

Permanent | Full-Time

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in retail fit‑out? Have you successfully delivered projects for Marks & Spencer or similar national retailers?

We’re looking for a confident, organised, and driven Project Manager to take the lead on high-spec fit‑out projects across the UK. You’ll play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and delivering complex refurbishments and fast‑track programmes in live retail environments.

Your Responsibilities

• Full project ownership from pre‑start to completion
• Lead site and project teams to ensure programme, quality, and safety standards are met
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams
• Manage project schedules, cost plans, and procurement in line with delivery targets
• Ensure H&S compliance and client satisfaction throughout all phases
• Report regularly on project progress to senior management and stakeholders

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in retail fit‑out (ideally Marks & Spencer or similar high‑street retailers)
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Able to manage multiple sites or fast‑track programmes across the UK
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Background in live environment projects is essential

Certifications Required

• SMSTS
• Black CSCS Card
• First Aid at Work (3‑day)
• Duty to Manage Asbestos
• Fire Marshall / Fire Warden
• NVQ Level 6 (or higher) in Construction Management
